How to use Melukote Sambar Powder
- Cook 3 Table Spoon Toor Dal (Lentils) in 3 cups of water and with approx 250 gms vegetables like potato, tomato, beans, ivy gourd etc.
- Grind 2 Table Spoon Coconut with half cup water and add 1 Table Spoon Sambar Powder
- Mix the cooked Toor Dal, vegetables and the ground paste, add salt to taste and add a tadka with cocounut oil
- Serve hot with Steamed Rice or Boiled Rice. The Sambar tastes excellent with Idli, Vade, Dosa etc as well.
